Stryfeduino – Part 2 – It’s alive

  • Servo motor with at least 13kg/cm
  • BC517 Transistor
  • Arduino ProMini 3.3V ATmega328
  • ENC28J60 Ethernet Module
  • Aluminium L-profile 20x20mm
  • USB A Cable with cut off other end
  • 2 Push Buttons
  • 1 LED with housing
  • Wires


At the end of this part the Nerfgun will have a trigger mechanism, an Ethernet connection, a USB connection to supply power to the components and an input panel consisting of two buttons, one for resetting the system, the other one with a programmable function, the switch from the previous part to double the power of the DC motors and a status LED.

This boils down to the following steps

  • Test the separate parts
    • Servo Motor
    • Transistor Flywheel switch
    • Input Button
    • Reset button
    • Status LED
    • ENC28 Ethernet
    • Arduino Board
  • Throw everything together
  • Test the final setup
  • Final touch
